Ergo10-MX is the synthetic form of the amino acid Erogthioneine mixed with microcrystalline cellulose. It has two functional groups: L-Thiol Group and Quaernary Ammonium group. A natural transporter of Ergothioneine, OCTN-1, has been identified in fibroblasts, keratinocylces and the nucleus. Therefore, Ergothioneine is readily accepted by the skin.
