Method of Manufacture:
Into the premix vessel add:
Chlorphenesin: Mix until dissolved
Disodium EDTA: Mix until dissolved
Into a premix vessel with homogeniser and vacuum add:
Xanthan Gum
Dipropylene Glycol: Emulsify for 10 minutes at 2000 RPM
Add the premix into the main vessel.
Into the main vessel add:
SKINPERF LWG: Emulsify for 10 minutes at 2500 RPM
After 10 minutes, into the main vessel, add:
Sodium polyacrylate: Emulsify for 10 minutes at 2500 RPM
Commence heating the main vessel to 75-80C
Into a suitable sized premix vessel add:
- Dimethicone
- Propylheptyl caprylate & Tocopherol
- Caprylic/capric triglyceride
- Phenoxyethanol – Commence heating the premix to 75-80C
- Beheneth-25
- Tocopherol & Helianthus annuus seed oil
When both vessel are at 75-80C add the premix vessel into the main vessel
Homogenise at 2500 RPM for 10 minutes
Commence cooling the main vessel to 23C
Adjust the mixer speed accordingly, as the batch cools ensure adequate batch turnover but avoiding aeration.
When the bulk is at 35C or below, into the main vessel add:
COVI-OX T90EU C: Mix until dispersed and ensure bulk is completely uniform
Raykami PDO: Ensure the bulk is completely uniform
Perfume: Ensure the bulk is completely uniform
Into the main vessel add:
Sodium Hydroxide: Mix for 15 minutes
When the bulk is 23C & completely uniform and homogenous, check the product specifications are agreeable.
