The three body lotions all use the same PolyAquol™-VO4 framework.
PolyAquol™-VO4 is a Water in Oil type – emulsifier. The emulsions produced are lighter and fresher than traditional W/O because of the high amounts of water possible in the internal phase.

Method of Manufacture

Into the premix vessel add:

Aqua
Glycerin: Mix until dispersed
Magnesium Sulphate: Mix until dissolved
C17A201 Suncroma D&C Red 33: Mix until dispersed
Polycos-RS STE: Mix until dispersed
Disodium EDTA: Mix until dissolved

Into the main vessel add:

PolyAquol VO4: Mix until dispersed
Cetoil OE: Mix until dispersed
Oat Lipid E: Mix until dispersed
Cosphaderm Feel: Mix until dispersed
Zinc Stearate BP: Mix until dissolved and no lumps remain
Cherry Blossom Herbasol Extract IPM: Mix until dispersed
Cosphaguard Presol: Mix until dispersed
Parfum: Mix until dispersed

  • Adjust the mixer speed of the main vessel to slow
  • When both phases are homogeneous, slowly add the premix into the main vessel
  • Allow 45 seconds per 100g
  • When all of the premix has been added, start the homogeniser on speed 1000 rpm
  • Homogenise for one minute
  • After 1 minute, increase the homogeniser speed to 2000 rpm
  • After 2 minutes stop homogenising and start the mixer at its slowest speed
  • Mix for 5 minutes and until the bulk is completely homogeneous
  • Ensure the bulk is 23C, check product specifications
