Our Body Cream has similar base to the Body Butter. In this formulation we have used a combination of Cosphaderm X34 and Cosphaderm KG, both at 0.1%.

A body Cream designed to showcase the synergistic thickening effect of Cosphaderm® X34 & Cosphaderm® KG . The Japanese themes ingredients are Magnolia Herbasol extract in IPM & Naturesoft 860R which is of rice origin. Cosphaderm® KG is from the Konjac plant known as Konyaku in Japan it is widely used in food including shiratak noodles.

Method of Manufacture:

 

Into the main vessel add:

Aqua
Glycerin: Mix until dispersed
Red 33 D&C: Mix until dissolved
Cosphaderm PA ECONAT: Mix until dispersed
Cosphaderm C 34:  Mix until dispersed
Cosphaderm KG:  Mix until dispersed


Use the emulsifier at speed 500 for 30 seconds if any lumps persist

Into the premix vessel add:

  • Sweet Almond Oil
  • Magnolia Herbasol IPM
  • Cetyl Alcohol
  • PolyAquol 2W
  • Caprylyl Glycol
  • Jasmin Butter
  • C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate

Commence heating the premix vessel to 80C

When both vessels are at 80C, add the premix vessel into the main vessel
Mix and homogenise for 5 minutes
After 10 minutes, commence cooling to 35C. Stop homogenising and continue with stirring only. 

When the bulk is 75C or below, into the main vessel add:

Cosphagard Presol: Mix until homogenous
Naturesoft 860R: Mix until homogenous

If any lumps persist, use the emulsifier until smooth

When the bulk is at 65C or below, into the main vessel add:

SiClone SR-5: Mix until homogenous

As the bulk cools & thickens, adjust the mixer speed accordingly to ensure adequate turnover but avoiding aeration.

When the bulk is 30C or below, into the main vessel add:

Sodium Hydroxide: Mix until homogeneous
Parfum: Mix until dispersed

Viscosity: 20,000 – 30,000 cps RVT TBAR D Speed 5.0, 1 minute (after 24 hours)
Colour: Pink
Appearance: Thick cream with souffle like texture
