Cetpro PQ-7RC is a cationic water soluble copolymer with excellent cleaning abilities within personal (specifically, hair care). Our grade is 4x the active level of standard Polyquaternium-7 thereby offering a significant cost saving to the formulator.

The copolymer is the result of the polymerisation of the diallydimethylammonium chloride (DADMAC) and acrylamide (AAM) to produce Polyquaternium-7 (PQ-7). The use of these highly stable monomers gives a stable copolymer with a wide range of capabilities.

Polyquaternium-7 is perfect for use in spray on, leave in hair conditioners and is an excellent detangler and provides slip for easier wet-combing. In addition, it will add softness and shine to dry hair.

How does Cetpro PQ-7RC work?

Due to the naturally anionic characteristics of hair the positive charges within PQ7 associate with this negative charge associate to the hair strands the result is smooth hair with a glossy finish by drying as a thin film over the hair strands. This thin invisible film allows hair to hold its shape for longer.
