WKPep®Antiprogerin

WKPep®Antiprogerin provides a remodelling effect that improves visible signs of skin ageing, such as wrinkles, sagging, and slackness. It decreases the production of progerin, a new ageing biomarker involved in skin cellular senescence. It increases the synthesis of syndecan, which has been shown to prolong the life span of cells. In addition, WKPep®Antiprogerin reduces the level of MMPs, which is well known to damage the extracellular matrix directly.
In vitro tests have shown that WKPep®Antiprogerin boosts epidermis and dermis regeneration and increases cell availability after UV irradiation.

WKPep®Anti-acne peptide
(INCI – Myristoyl Hexapeptide-5)
WKPep®Anti-acne peptide, known as host defence or antimicrobial peptides, belongs to a class of small peptide molecules found in nature. It serves as a safe and mild antibiotic substitute for improving acne, pustules, and caring for hormone dependent dermatitis. Its ability to combat acne and inflammation is achieved by inhibiting Propionibacterium acnes and Staphylococcus aureus, both of which play crucial roles in the development of acne.
Studies have shown the height and volume of acne spots were effectively reduced, and acne scars were repaired. After three days, pustules disappeared, inflammation improved, and the area of skin lesions decreased. WKPep®Carnosine

WKPep®Carnosine is an endogenous dipeptide found in human muscles and brain tissues that has the powerful ability to be anti-glycation, anti-oxidant, and anti-ageing. It enhances the skin’s defences, repairs photo-damaged skin and brightens the complexion.
The anti-glycation of proteins is achieved by competitively inhibiting the combination of glucose and collagen, reducing the production of AGEs (Advanced Glycation End products). A lotion containing 0.5% WKPep®Carnosine was shown to improve skin brightening after 4 weeks of use significantly.

WKPep® Repairin contains unique amino acids that regulate levels of collagen in the skin, reducing fine lines and improving the overall appearance. In addition, it enhances autophagy (the breakdown and reuse of old cells). It up-regulates autophagy-related proteins and Nrf2 signalling pathway-related proteins. This improves cellular autophagy, cleaning up harmful materials inside the cells and rejuvenating the cell.
A study was performed where volunteers applied an emulsion containing 2% Hexapeptide -11. After 8 weeks of twice-daily application, the results showed a reduction in the appearance of Crow’s feet, wrinkles under the eyes, and nasolabial folds.

WKPep®SAWMPeptides X is a peptide blend with a botox-like effect that reduces wrinkles instantly. It does so by inhibiting muscle contraction. A test was conducted where a serum containing 10% WKPep®SAWMPeptides X was applied to the skin of a volunteer, showing instant, significant improvement of wrinkles after 15 minutes and 1 hour.
