We are proud to offer the Alpenrose Flower (Rhododendron ferrugineum) extract line, which is based on the natural activity of the shrub’s pinkish-red flowers. Manufactured from 100% wild-grown, handpicked, and fully traceable Alpenrose flowers from a farming family in the Swiss Alps, their extracts provide high sustainable quality and a maximum of natural ‘Swissness’ for skin and haircare cosmetics.
Aronia berries are small dark superfruits from North America and are powerful antioxidants that exhibit anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial and antidiabetic properties. Lipoid Kosmetik harness these health-promoting properties for cosmetics and develop Aronia extracts from fruit pomace, a by-product of juice production. The raw Aronia berry material is grown and processed on a farm in Switzerland and can be used to develop cosmetic formulations that are convincing, using a persuasive sourcing story.

Haskap berry is the new superfruit from the Northern temperate zone of Europe and Asia. In Japanese traditional medicine, Haskap is considered an ‘elixir of life’, and the juice is sold as a remedy for eternal youth and longevity. Vitamin-rich fruits provide anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities. Lipoid Kosmetik uses the fruit pomace of Swiss-sourced and organic Haskap berries and combines it with the full-spectrum mild extraction technology to create high-quality and sustainable plant extracts for cosmetic applications.
Aloe leaves are therapeutic agents for their health, beauty and skincare properties. They are composed of the inner leaf with a polysaccharide-rich juice, a latex layer with laxative but potentially harmful aloin, and the outer rind with precious small molecules. Lipoid Kosmetik uses specifically processed Aloe leaves from Mexico, in which the outer and latex layers are removed to avoid contamination with aloin.
