We are excited to showcase CODIF’s specially curated range of ‘Seafood Beauty’ ingredients which are of 100% natural, marine origin.

Hydrasalinol

Hydrasalinol is an oil-soluble extract of the coastal plant Salicornia herbacea.

Hydrasalinol is proven to activate urea synthesis in the epidermis and reinforce the hydrolipidic barrier and is a powerful ingredient for skin hydration.

It also reduces transepidermal water loss (TEWL).

Samphira Oil Bioactive

Wax extracted from Rock Samphire (also known as Sea Fennel) through subcritical C02, Aroleat Samphira imitates the beneficial properties of retinoids, without causing skin irritation or photosentivity.

Its “retinoid-like” action reduces the secretion of sebum, diminishes lines and wrinkles due to cutaneous ageing, and leaves the skin feeling smooth, even and soft.

Buckwheat Wax

Buckwheat wax combines essential fatty acids and phytosterols to prevent fat storage and to activate lipolysis. The volume of puffiness under the eyes is reduced whereas the fragile skin of the eye contour is re-lipidifed.

Despite its designation of buckwheat, buckwheat is not a species of the genus. It is gluten-free.

It contains all the essential amino acids and contains a large amount of magnesium. It is the richest food in rutin, an antioxidant that protects blood vessels.

Matrigenics

Matrigenics 14G restructures the extra-cellular matrix to redefine the triangle of beauty. Frown lines and nasal furrows are corrected in 2 weeks while hollow cheeks become more filled out and dense.

A concentrate of fertile bases of Undaria pinnatifida, a brown algae that it grown under Codif’s marine cultivation programme. Matrigenics.14 G is high in wakamic ester and reactivates dormant genes to restructure the extra-cellular matrix.

Wakapamp

Wakapamp is an oil obtained by supercritical CO2 extraction from the fertile bases of the algae Undaria pinnatifida, a brown algae that is part of Codif’s industrial marine growing programme at La Rance, St Malo, France.

Wakapamp helps to reconstitute the hydrolipic film of the skin by promoting the synthesis of its main components; (surface lipids epidermal lipids + sebum) and surface water.

Goldella

Goldella is obtained from a strain of Chlorella vulgaris, an extremely resistant unicellular algae that appeared 2.5 billion years ago in the freshwater reservoirs of the earth.

Rich in lutein, an essential natural antioxidant, Goldella nourishes and protects the tissues from the harmful action of free radicals and their effects on aging. Tested on volunteers, it improves the texture homogeneity of the skin, decreases the surface and the amount of wrinkles.

Earth Marine Water

Earth Marine Water is a unique type of water, exceptionally rich in minerals, drawn from a preserved natural environment.

Found on the French island of Noirmoutier, the sea water is filtered through several geological layers.

Earth Marine Water is found to refine the complexion, reducing the number of pores and reduce shine, providing a “rosy” effect and a radiant skin tone.
