VAS – Vegetable Alternative to Silicone
INCI: Hydrogenated ethylhexyl olivate (and) hydrogenated olive oil unsaponifiables

Claims:

  • Highly stable transparent liquid emollient
  • Olive origin, with significant affinity with the skin
  • It can be used as a vegetable alternative to silicones (Cyclomethicone D5, Dimethicone DC 200, etc.)
  • Stable viscosity at any temperature (like Cyclomethicone D5)
  • Stable colour at high temperature (100º C)
  • Stable odour at high temperature (100º C)
  • Stable peroxide value at high temperature (100º C), like silicones
  • Preservatives free
  • Compatible with most oily ingredients (with different polarities), unlike silicones

  • Soft, light and non-greasy feel
  • Quick skin penetration
  • Dry after-feel with a long-lasting silky feel
