We are thrilled to highlight to you CODIF’s latest launch: VITASMOOTHY. Vitasmoothy is a powerful active ingredient that plumps the skin by increasing its water reserves.
WHERE DOES IT COME FROM?
Vitasmoothy comes from the Lavandula Soechas (Lavender)plant, also known as French lavender or Butterfly lavender. Over time, the plant has developed osmoregulatory mechanisms to help it survive the dryness of its native environment.
The process started when CODIF harvested one sample of lavender. From that sample, they generated a culture of dedifferentiated cells, which enabled them to obtain a pulp of lavender cells.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Skin dehydration is one of the most common causes of skin ageing. To avoid it, our body has its guardians, osmolytes. Osmolytes help slow cellular water loss, which is where the beauty of Vitasmoothy comes in. Vitasmoothy provides the skin cells with osmoregulation tools that increase water reserves up to 69%.
After two weeks of application, there is a visible improvement in skin’s plumpness, texture and fine lines.
