We are delighted to be sharing with you Cosphatec’s new palm-free Levulinic Acid multifunctional, Cosphaderm® LA-T palm free. Cosphatec are expanding their portfolio with this new development from their popular Cosphaderm® LA-T. The unique multifunctional blend includes natural levulinic acid and its sodium salt, dissolved in water with glycerine. It is water soluble and very easy to use, offering antimicrobial efficacy up to pH 6.
The glycerine used in Cosphaderm® LA-T palm free is derived from rapeseed oil, which allows this raw material’s cultivation area not to be limited to just the tropics. Due to the versatile and resistant nature of rapeseed, the plant grows exceptionally well in Europe and Asia’s more temperate climate zones, which helps to protect the threatened tropical rainforests.
For maximum antimicrobial efficacy, we recommend combining Cosphaderm® LA-T palm free with substances that have strong properties against yeasts and moulds, such as Cosphaderm® pAS natural (p-Anisic Acid).
