According to forecasts, the global suncare market is expected to experience significant growth in the next three years. This surge can be mainly attributed to the growing awareness concerning the risks of skin cancer and skin ageing caused by UV rays. We are proud to share our range of UV filter ingredients for your products’ needs.
Cetpro® UV Filters
- Cetpro® DHHB – Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate
Cetpro® DHHB is a synthetic oil-soluble sunscreen agent that helps shield skin against UVA rays with peak absorption at 354 nm. It is an approved UV filter in the UK, EU, China, Australia, and Japan at a 10% maximum concentration. Cetpro® DHHB offers excellent photostability. It is also considered superior to Avobenzone (another popular UVA spectrum sunscreen agent) and can be used alone or with other UV absorbers.
- Cetpro® BMT- Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine
Cetpro® BMT offers excellent broad-spectrum sun protection and can contribute to high levels of SPF and UVA protection at low concentrations. It also gives photo-stability for long-lasting protection. It is known to be the most efficient oil-soluble broad-spectrum UV Filter and acts as a stabiliser for other photo-unstable UV Filters.
- Cetpro® DHBT – Diethylhexyl Butamido Triazone
Cetpro® DHBT is a chemical sunscreen agent that is very oil soluble and requires relatively low concentrations to achieve high SPF values (it gives an SPF of 12.5 at the maximum allowed concentration of 10%). It protects in the UVB and UVA II range with a peak protection at 310 nm, and it is particularly suitable for water-repellent and water-resistant formulations. Diethylhexyl Butamido Triazone is very photostable. It only loses 10% of its SPF protection abilities in 25 hours.
